FAQ

Do you offer a styling service?

We do! Please use the link on our website to schedule a Shopping Appointment, or reach out to us here to learn more.

Where are you located?

Our flagship Showroom is located at 100 Chesterfield Drive, Suite A, Cardiff CA 92007. We are open Tuesday - Saturday and currently by appointment only. Read more about Scheduling An Appointment with us.

I am not sure if the band I love will fit my ring. How can I be sure?

In order to gain expert advise on whether a band from our collection will fit with an existing piece, we recommend hopping on a Virtual Styling Appointment with one of our stylists. Our clients have found this interactive session to be very beneficial in selecting a new addition from afar. Please feel free to reach out to us here to learn more.

I have a very unique engagement ring, do I need to have a custom wedding band made?

We are certainly able to create a Custom band if you would prefer, however, we have one of the largest wedding band and contour band collections that you will find. We love helping clients find their dream wedding band within our collection, when they otherwise thought they would have to have a custom band made. By not needing to go the custom route, you ultimately save money and time. Schedule an Appointment to find your favorite band!

A piece I love is in stock in 14k yellow gold. Is there a cost to change the metal to 14k white gold?

There is no cost to change from 14k yellow gold, 14k white gold or 14k rose gold. Please keep in mind production time when a certain metal color is not in stock.

Can I order a ring in a quarter size if I don’t see the option listed on the website?

Certainly! Please add a note to your order at checkout to let us know your exact ring size.

Can I order a necklace or bracelet in a longer chain?

Certainly! The majority of our necklaces and bracelets have an extension added already. Please let us know your preferred length and we will contact you with more details.

What metals do you use?

We work with all precious metals, however, our fine jewelry collection is mostly made with 14k yellow gold, 14k rose gold, and 14k white gold, with the exception of some pieces being 18k gold. We can upgrade most pieces to platinum or 18k gold for an upgraded cost. Please reach out to us here or call us at 800.875.5062 to discuss upgrading the metal on a piece that you love.

Where do you source precious stones and diamonds from?

We only work with trusted parties when sourcing precious stones and diamonds from all over the world. Kasia herself travels at least twice a year to industry recognized gem-shows to hand select the stones. We are also able to source Canadamark diamonds if in need of more documentation on the exact route from mine to market. Please email design@kasiajewelry.com if possible to use those in your project. Please note that our stones do not come with any report (certificate) unless otherwise stated under product description.

Do you use recycled metals?

Yes we do. We are committed to socially and environmentally responsible materials therefore all of our gold pieces are recycled.

Are your diamonds ethically sourced?

Yes! Our diamonds come from reputable sources that adhere to fair humanitarian mining practices ensuring they are ethically sourced.

How do I make sure I order the right size?

If you are unsure of the finger size and are not able to stop by our Showroom, we recommend to get a professional measurement from a local jeweler. Please know there is no perfect ring size - as things like sodium, body temperature, alcohol, latitude change, weight fluctuation, etc. can create up to half a finger size difference. Please feel free to reach out to us here, we are here to guide you through it!

Can eternity bands be resized?

Eternity bands are not able to be resized due to the stones being set all the way around the band and therefore not allowing any size modification.

What methods of payment/financing options do you offer?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and Apple pay. We also offer financing options in partnership with Affirm as well as 50%/50% split payment option. Read more about our options.

How far in advance do you recommend purchasing wedding bands?

We recommend purchasing wedding bands around the same time that you select your venue and wedding attire. (Around 6-12 months prior to the event). Because our pieces are hand-made, we recommend allowing plenty of time in any event of production delays, casting issues, resize or shipment.

DOES MY PURCHASE COME WITH ANY DOCUMENTATION?

We can provide a complimentary itemized receipt upon request. This can be helpful if you plan on insuring your piece. Itemized receipts can be sent out within a couple of days from the requested date.

Will an engagement ring that I love always be in your collection?

We try to offer an expansive collection, however pieces move very quickly. Many of our Engagement Rings are one of a kind. If an in-stock Engagement Ring sells, and the piece is able to be re-created, please note that the price point and lead time for the new piece might change due to new sourcing for the center stone. Regarding wedding bands, stackable rings, and other pieces in our collection, we frequently retire styles to make room for new pieces. So, if there is a piece you love, we recommend securing the piece or beginning production on it while the piece is still available.

When will I receive my order?

Kasia Jewelry is mostly made to order, therefore please allow approximately 6-8 week production lead time unless otherwise stated in the item description. Pieces that are "Ready To Ship" will ship within 5-7 business days.

Can you expedite production on my piece?

If you would like to request production on your order to be expedited, please reach out to us here. Although not every item is available for rush orders, we will do our best to accommodate to your request.

How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?

Any changes or cancellations must be made within 6 hours after an order is placed. If you would like to request a change to your order, please email us immediately at support@kasiajewelry.com or call us at 800.875.5062.

Can you resize Ready To Ship pieces?

Yes! Most pieces are available for a first-time complimentary resize. Simply select the Ready To Ship size in your preferred metal color, and leave a note at checkout with your desired size. Your piece will still ship within 5-7 business days.

What are the shipping options?

All fine jewelry is shipped UPS (DHL or UPS for international shipments) with tracking and comes with complimentary insurance. We require a signature upon delivery for all orders. Read more details about Shipping.

What are the international taxes, duties, etc. that I have to pay?

For international shipments, there may be duties and/or taxes imposed by the destination country upon delivery. Kasia Jewelry is not responsible for these charges. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for further information. Read more details about International Shipping

What should I do if I never received my order?

Review UPS tracking information to determine if your package was delivered. Please feel free to reach out to us here or call us at 800.875.5062, and we will do our best to help.

Is it safe to ship fine jewelry?

All of our shipments come fully insured, securely packaged in packaging void of brand logos, and require a signature upon delivery, therefore you can rest assured knowing we take all steps to ensure the package's safety.

What is permanent jewelry?

At Kasia Jewelry, permanent jewelry consists of either a bracelet, anklet, or necklace (gold-filled or 14k gold) that is welded or “zapped” together to prevent easy/unintentional removal.

Where does your permanent jewelry service take place?

At our flagship showroom in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California. Once you arrive, the first order of business is selecting your beverage of choice, then we’ll lead you to our dreamy “cloud” room which serves as the permanent jewelry studio.

How long does it take to apply permanent jewelry?

Our appointments are for 20-minute slots.

Does permanent jewelry application hurt?

Not at all!

Can I get more than one piece?

Absolutely! If you would like more than one piece, please schedule an appointment in accordance with the number of pieces desired. For example:

1 person getting 2 bracelets = 2 appointments

1 person getting 1 bracelet, 1 anklet, and 1 necklace = 3 appointments

What chains/charms do you offer and how much does it cost?

Please see our chain and charm options including pricing here: https://rb.gy/63i79. Please note that options are available while supplies last. You may choose your chain(s)/charm(s) on the day of your appointment. Prices listed include the application service so there are no additional fees besides tax at checkout.

Do you host group parties?

We certainly do! A permanent jewelry party especially makes for great bridesmaids gifts. To coordinate, please reach out to us at contact@kasiajewelry.com.

Why do you require a deposit?

Due to permanent jewelry being a limited service in such popular demand (currently offered only Thursdays 4 PM-6 PM), the purpose of the deposit is to reserve your appointment slot(s). That charge will be applied towards the total cost of your piece(s).

What is the difference between gold-filled and 14k gold?

Gold-filled jewelry is significantly stronger than any plated materials as it is actually a couple solid layers of 14k gold chemically bonded to a base metal, which makes it waterproof and tarnish-resistant. 14k gold is what is referred to as “solid gold.” Because 24k gold is too soft for wear, it is mixed with other metals called alloys for added strength. Therefore, 14k gold is 58.3% pure gold and 41.7% alloys. 14k gold is the most popular choice for fine jewelry due to its purity and durability.

How long does permanent jewelry last?

Permanent jewelry is meant to last as long as you’d like, however depending on wear it is possible (as with any piece of jewelry) for the chain to break if it gets snagged, for example. Many of our chain options are dainty in nature therefore we strongly encourage mindful wear, as with any KJ piece. If you ever needed to take it off, you can cut it with sharp scissors (ideally at the connector). In either case, you may keep the chain and have us reapply it at a later date for an approximate cost of $20. Please reach out to us at contact@kasiajewelry.com to coordinate reapplication. Kindly note that we do not replace lost chains/charms.

Why do I have to sign a release and waiver of liability?

The release and waiver of liability is merely a precautionary measure we must take due to the welding technology used during application. While the vast majority of people are great candidates for permanent jewelry, it is our responsibility to make you aware that if you have a pacemaker and/or allergy/sensitivity to metal there may be added risks.

What is your return policy?

For unworn items purchased from us directly (online, in-showroom or during pop-ups), we offer an exchange for store credit within 7 days of tracked delivery. The following products are final sale, and are not eligible for exchange or return: engagement rings, eternity bands, our Men's Collection, Last Ones In Stock Collection, engraved or custom/bespoke orders. Review more details about our Return Policy.

What should I do if I received a defective order?

If an item shipped to you is defective or inaccurate, it can be returned to us within the first 7 days from tracked delivery. We will make any necessary repairs to the item, or conduct a full remake if needed. Read more details about Defective Orders.

What should I do if I have to cancel my order?

Cancellations must be made within 6 hours of placing an order. No refunds will be granted after those 6 hours. Read more about our Return Policy.
